This is a good start park to go swimming, hiking, and camping. It is small and quaint. The restrooms are clean and the grounds are maintained rather nicely. The only suggestion would be to add more grills and tables in the beach area.
Misquitos baad, but pretty park bring repelent
We rented the rv by the water and fished. It was very nice. We took out 1 year old son with us. It was nice for him to have room inside to play.
Very nice and clean and nice paved trails. We went late July and the water was hot and mosquitos were HORRIBLE. ..bug spray didn't work. Park rangers are very strict and patrol often. ..they run a very tight ship. This place would be great to visit early summer before it gets too hot
Was so fun! Clean, good bathrooms. Great area to walk around or lounge at the beach area. Water nice. Only thing is the skeeters will come out like massive vampires when darkness hits, at least in August!
